The Restored Tree of Life
June 1, 2012
The Tree of Life is an ancient esoteric symbol.
Above you see an illustration of the traditional Tree of Life or Sepher Sephiroth. The tree consists of 10 nodes or elements, connected with 22 paths.
Now about this symbol many books have been written, explaining about the meaning of the nodes and paths, and various ways of looking at the tree. For example:
- Three sets of three nodes called Sephiroth, plus a tenth (Malkuth), reflected in the three grayscale colour values, three primary colours, and three secondary colours, plus the tenth which is somewhat a mix between all colours
- Three columns, or pillars (Mercy and Severity, and the Middle Pillar which is usually not named)
The traditional tree of life can be explained as a representation of the state of humans in the previous evolutionary stage, which is now transitioning to a next, new stage. In this new stage the traditional Tree of Life should be re-arranged, because the concept of the Fall, central in the old Tree, and reflected in the position of the tenth Sephirah, Malkuth, is no longer valid.
Thus, this article will elaborate on this revolutionary change, not only in the Tree, which is not much more than a reflection of the fundamental change and reorientation of the human race and the entire planet this race lives on.
We call this the Restored Tree of Life.
